Always time for hot chocolate

When do you drink hot chocolate?

I’ve been having a lot of these conversations lately. Spring is on its way and all of a sudden the cafe owners notice a drastic drop in hot chocolate sales. I get it, the warm comfort is perfect on a cold winter’s day.

However, I think there is something more to it. A lot of people associated hot chocolate with something indulgent, definitely not a daily drink, maybe even something that makes them feel they should go for a run. A potential treat to the ‘beach 2022’ confidence.

My mindset is always- enjoy what you drink (or eat) once you’ve made a decision, don’t guilt trip yourself. Never feel bad enjoying a good chocolate. Remember that there are studies showing health benefits with cacao - and I’m sure the future will bring many more!

So enjoy that hot chocolate when you feel like it! And knowing me you know I’ll remind you to use quality chocolate to prepare your drink! The cacao is key!

When you use a delicious chocolate with a high percentage of cacao you will get a rich drink with very little or no sugar. And I promise you that you can make a creamy cup of chocolate using water as well as dairy or non-dairy alternatives. So the possibilities to find your perfect cup of chocolate is endless!

Don’t let the beautiful spring days keep you from a moment of relaxation with a cup of chocolate in your hands ✨
